SCHOOL SOLUTIONS is a consulting practice in Houston that I formed in 2004 after twenty-five years of experience as an educator. In five years, I have worked as an educational consultant with families to guide or place over 200 students in more than 75 schools.    

SCHOOL SOLUTIONS assists families in making informed decisions and successful day school placement for their children in the Greater Houston area. As your educational consultant, I can help you select a list of schools and guide you through the admission and decision process.

Houston has become the 4th largest city in the nation since I was growing up here in the 1950s and going to The Kinkaid School. Now I am visiting schools in Sugar Land, Clear Lake, Katy, The Woodlands, and schools around The West Loop that were not here forty years ago.

These schools provide tremendous choices for families, but how can parents know which school is right for their child? Whether your child is entering pre-school or high school, a qualified educational consultant can help you find fit will have a lasting impact on your child's academic opportunities.

SCHOOL SOLUTIONS has no "typical" client. While I am always working with families moving here from out of the country or from another state, most of my clients live in the Greater Houston area. Recently, I worked with children ages 15 months to 17 years old applying to over 25 different schools for the 2009-2010 school year.

As a member of The Greater Houston Partnership Education and Strategic Planning Committee, I fully support public education. As an educational consultant, I have no bias for public or private schools. My goal is to find the school that fits the family, student and school. 

An effective educational consultant values the strengths and potential within each student.

SCHOOL SOLUTIONS can help families quickly focus their search to identify schools where a student's academic strengths, learning styles, unique abilities, extra-curricular interests, and social, emotional and physical development will flourish.

Houston private schools are similar in some ways, but vastly different in others. It takes time to learn about and build relationships with schools. That is the role of an educational consultant.

As a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, I am the only educational consultant specializing in Greater Houston private schools for students of all ages and abilities.
